Full-Text Search
A small FamilySearch team completed a hack-a-thon challenge and built a Full-Text prototype with the ability to scan all text on any record or image. This prototype was found on the web by avid genealogists and spread rapidly by word of mouth, because they were able to find ancestors and loved ones much more quickly. I was asked to give the prototype a new updated design and features in preparation for the upcoming 2024 RootsTech presentation in front of hundreds of thousands of viewers.
